TRAINWAVES
takes the listener on an imaginary journey along the suburban train line between Sorgenfri and Copenhagen Central Station. Recorded voice announcements from trains and stations around the world, are combined with slowly unfolding soundscapes. As in a dream sequence, stations, languages, places, and sounds merge into a fantastical intermediate world – a state between wakefulness and dreaming that may occur on long train rides. Here, the journey takes us around the world on Copenhagen's E-line, blurring the boundaries between reality and imagination.
